The April issue of Allure magazine hits newsstands March 26.
In her April cover story with Allure magazine, actress Katie Holmes sympathized with Sandy victims, saying she hoped for a more peaceful year for all. She also cited the tragedies of Newtown, Connecticut as a reason to look forward to the rest of 2013.
Holmes did not, however, directly address her split from ex-husband Tom Cruise last June. The two were married for five years and have a six-year-old daughter, Suri. But she did say she was open to the idea of one day starting another family.
The “Dawson’s Creek” alum hasn’t had many starring roles since she got married — she played Jackie Kennedy in the 2011 miniseries “The Kennedys” and had a guest role on an episode of CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” — but with two films in production, could be making a return sooner rather than later.
